R600, X2900 name confirmed

AMD document confirms


We had a privilege to see the Tunisia presentation a bit earlier, more than two weeks earlier, and AMD clearly states that the R600 will be called Radeon X2900 series. No more mysteries about it as we finally have the solid proof. We wrote about this here


We can also confirm that the R600 will have that audio part, but that won't be a classic sound card, that will be video related somehow. We will cover this one later, when we gain some more details about it.


At least now we know the name of the part we've been talking about for months now.
