17 inch Santa Rosa

According to the Notebookitalia.it, new Dell's XPS M1730 notebook beast will go on sale August 27th.

New M1730 will be based on Santa Rosa platform with the new Core 2 Extreme X7800, the same one we wrote about here. The base model comes with Geforce 8600GS 256 MB mobile card and there will be a version with Geforce 8700M GT with 512MB.

It comes with maximal 4GB RAM, and 512MB or 1GB of Intel Turbo Memory as an option, Blu-ray and Bluetooth, all in all a lot of Blue things.

Expect it to be heavy in your hands, and also heavy on your wallet. Entire community agrees and hopes that Dell will have another color scheme to choose from, because the one on the pictures below is just not that good.  They hurt the editors eyes.

More info about this notebook will surely surface real soon.
