On 8600GT and 8500GT

According to our colleagues from Donanimhaber.com, Point of View will soon announce Geforce 8600GT and 8500GT cards with 1GB of memory.

Both cards will feature the same 2.8ns GDDR2 memory clocked at 600MHz. The 8600GT with 32 Stream Processors feature 540MHz GPU clock, while the 8500GT with 16 Stream Processors comes with a bit  overclocked 500MHz GPU clock.

Recently, we reviewed Gainward's 8600GT 1GB, and it showed that the additional memory pays off in some tests. You can read the review here. You can also check out more information on Point of View cards here.
