We had a chance to make a short interview with Godfrey Cheng, Director of Marketing Platform technologies at AMD and this guy and his team really drives Crossfire and everything that is related to it.

The top information we wanted to find out is when can we expect CrossfireX driver and we were told early March 2008, after the guys made a joke and said to expect it in 2009. CrossfireX will let you run three or even four cards together and the market has high hopes about it.

We were told to be able to expect more than 300 percent scaling in some games and that the technology really likes Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 2142 and the Source engine based titles.
