You might remember the hype about Radeon 3690, a product that never showed its face in E.U. or the U.S., and we can confirm that the new super hyped Radeon 3830 is again a China-only product.
What we learned is that the chip behind 3690 and 3830 looks to be the same thing. Both cards have the slower version of RV670PRO chip, and it is likely that 3830 will have slightly higher clocks with 128-bit memory. You can be sure that this card will end up dramatically slower than Radeon 3850 and it would probably do poorly in demanding markets such as the E.U. and U.S.
American and E.U. readers can rest peacefully, as this card won't get to our markets, at least not for the time being.
