Core goes to 690MHz

BFG
has announced its OC2 edition of Nvidia's 9600GT card. The card, branded BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT OC2 512MB, is still using the same reference design and comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory.

The card works at 690MHz for the core, 1,750MHz for the Shaders and 1,880MHz for the mentioned 512MB of GDDR3 memory. Just for reference, a stock card works at 650/1,625/1,800MHz. We would like to see a higher clock on the memory, but this is as good as it gets, at least from BFG. The card comes with 64 Stream processors and a 256-bit memory interface.

The card should be available soon, and the suggested retail price is US$249.99.
