All of Nvidia united vs. Intel

We are all Jensen

Intel didn't want to comment on Jensen’s analyst incident, but we learned that all of Nvidia actually stands behind the queen Borg, CEO Jensen Huang.

Sources close to the company commented that Jensen simply didn’t have any choice and had to do what he did and we believe that history will teach us if it was it a good move or not.

Jensen has to make it all about games while Intel will play the " it's all about things other than games" strategy. According to Jon Peddie the graphic industry in Q4 2007 sold 31.65 million add-in-cards (discrete cards) and this is a number you can't easily dismiss. At the same time, the market of add-in-cards generated $6.57 Billion, which is again a nice number and it keeps growing.

Most of this money goes to Nvidia or ATI and long-term Intel wants to be there. For Intel it’s not about the money, it’s more about the marketing image, something that Nvidia has mastered really well.

Nvidia made a great image with its Geforce-series while Intel did the same with Centrino and when it comes to marketing it will be a clash of the titans as both companies are doing this part of the job simply too well.

The only down side is that Intel is at least 10 times bigger than Nvidia and has more money to fuel the marketing machine with. But until late 2009 it won’t have a sexy graphic product to compete with Nvidia or ATI, so you can rest until that day come.

Another dimension is that Nvidia, a four thousand people company, is throwing a stone at Intel that has more than 100,000 employees.
