Skype's been down for hours. Millions lost.

Microsoft's communication platform "to rule them all" has been down for hours, on Monday, September 21st. The product blog is mum, with a couple of twitter posts from the company not explaining anything.

But use is going up

Data from Juniper Research has shown that the messaging market will decline from $113.5bn in 2014 to $112.9bn in 2019.

Comes in Windows 10 timeframe

We already have Oculus by Facebook, Nvidia is apparently working on its VR tech, AMD is offering a helping hand to Facebook and Oculus, while Samsung thinks VR glasses are for the Galaxy Note 4 phone powered by tiny GPU.
