Next Unit of Computing growing up
Last week we had a chance to chat with Intel people in charge of NUC (Next Unit of Computing) small barebones desktop systems and we learned a bit about the future of this exciting concept.
MediaTek MT6595 does even better in AnTuTu 5.6
We have created a lot of noise with Meizu MX 4 phone powered by MediaTek MT6595, a big.LITTLE SoC part with quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex A17 and quad-core 1.7GHz Cortex A7.
Lollipop Android 5.0 on a TV
Last week we saw a great smart TV powered by a MediaTek Quad Core SoC running Android 5.0.

We want to make sure that you realize that 20nm GPUs won’t be coming at all. Despite the fact that Nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung and Apple are doing 20nm SoCs, there won’t be any 20nm GPUs.
This is where the graphics industry is going
We had a few dozen meetings at CES 2015 with many interesting people and close friends over the last week and we came to a conclusion that 4K and Virtual Reality will play a big role in 2015 and the future of computer graphics.
Runs 4K at 60 FPS too
We had a chance to spend some time with a few Tegra X1 developer boards and see a number of demos by Nvidia and see what is going to come in the next few months.
