With high-performance gaming

The Commodore
brand, once a huge name in the U.S. during the 1980s with its C-64 and Amiga, disappeared from the U.S. and has had a presence only in Europe since.

Enter Commodore Gaming, established in 2005 to offer high-performance gaming PCs and to try to resurrect the Commodore brand recognition in the U.S. market.

Commodore Gaming is now headed by Bill Sims, a former long-time executive with Electronic Arts, who has announced plans to open new U.S. offices in Stamford, Connecticut.

Sims will be the head of this location as the Vice President of North American sales, and reportedly will be leading a retail program aimed at “big box” retailers and online e-tailers.

We had a chance to meet the CEO and the Marketing guys at the Commodore  25th anniversary and you can read all about it here.
