Won't work soon

Customers who use the iPhone hacks will not be able to do so after the company's next software upgrade, according to Apple.

The iPhone will have an update later this week which will add new features such as accessibility to the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store. However it seems mostly designed to kill up any of the software hacks that have come along since the launch.

Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing denied that the company was trying to stuff up those who had hacked their phones so they could do what they liked with them. He claimed he was saving punters from having their phones broken by hackers.

John McLaughlin of Uniquephones.com, in Northern Ireland, who has developed unlocking software told AP that Apple's warning "something of
a scare tactic."He said that anyone who has already unlocked their phone could get it back in working condition as the hacks could be reversed if need be.
