Promising specs

Thanks to the massive success of its Eee PC, Asus has announced a new desktop system that aims at the Mini-PC market and systems like Apple's Mac mini. This new system is called Nova P22.

The Nova P22 is just 2 inches high and packs quite a punch for such small device. It boasts a 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo E6320 processor with 1066 FSB, 1GB of memory, 160GB of hard drive space and as certain pictures around the Web hinted a remote control and a lot of media center options. For now this little thing is only available in Taiwan for around $1,019.

Asus' rival Apple Mac mini doesn't stand a chance against this one, but we will wait for a decent review comparison just to make sure of it.
