Should be ready soon

Futuremark has delayed its new benchmarking software, PC Mark 7, which should have been released yesterday, May 3rd. The reason for the delay is a last minute issue that needs to be fixed before the release.

In case you missed it, the Futuremark PCMark 7 is a new general purpose benchmak for Windows 7 and will be available in three versions, offering up to seven PC tests with more than 25 individual workloads for measuring different aspects of PC performance. The PCMark 7 will be available as a Basic, Advanced and Professional Edition version.

Those that are expecting this benchmark shouldn't worry too much as we are sure that Futuremark will fix the issue pretty soon and it is simply a matter of testing it with various partners in order to be sure that it works flawlessly.

The precise date hasn't been revealed but we expect it to show up pretty soon.
