Kawano confirms in blog posting
Hiroshi Kawano, the big man in charge of Sony Computer Entertainment in Japan, has confirmed through a posting on his personal blog that the public will be able to get a hands-on experience of the Vita during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show that will kick off in September.

Still, Sony has yet to answer the big questions about the Vita, such as when it will arrive and what games are coming for the device. While Sony might make some announcements on the Vita during TGS, it would seem that this is nothing more than a warm-up for additional announcements that are expected from Sony during the Gamescon conference in Germany. Sony will be holding a press conference at Gamescon.

Analysts that we have spoken with continue to echo our opinion about the Sony where the Vita is concerned. There are many more questions than answers at this stage in the game; and without knowing what the system is going to cost and the specifics of some of the software coming to the platform it is still pretty hard to get excited about the potential prospects for sales of the Vita when it is finally released. Sony needs to answer some of these questions and start to get things rolling. The amount of time that has passed since additional information has been released is a bit too long.
