Apple to build shop in NYC Grand Central Terminal?

Waiting for the green light
HotHardare reports that Apple is awaiting for a nod from New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority in order to erect its unholy store in NYC Grand Central terminal.

From a business point of view, few locations could be better as we’re talking about a massive amount of people who would soon have Apple’s logo etched underneath their eyelids. That is, if the New York Times hasn’t already made that happen.

It is said that Apple’s rent will be around $1.1 million per year whereas the store will stretch over 23,000 square feet. The prime location it is, we can’t help but wonder whether Apple can top this in the future. A store in the Vatican perhaps? (Not sure they would approve of new religious movements like Apple. sub.ed.)

More here.
