One
of the casualties of the HD-DVD versus Blu-ray war appears to be DreamWorks Animation, which is locked into an exclusive deal to distribute DVDs on Toshiba's HD DVD format.

While Toshiba has walked away from the war, it appears that Dreamworks has been left standing alone. Part of this is because Paramount and DreamWorks got a combined $150 million in financial incentives for their commitment to HD DVD. Now they do not know if they have to send the check back to release their products in any other format.

DreamWorks plans to release the DVD version of the "Bee Movie" next month, and is waiting to hear back from Toshiba on what to do.
