80Plus Bronze and up to 600W

OCZ and its subsidiary PC Power & Cooling have rolled out its latest Silencer Mk III series of PSUs that will be available in 400, 500 and 600W versions.

The entire lineup features single +12V rail design, modular design, 80Plus Bronze rating due to up to 85% efficiency, active PFC, a 120mm PWM fan for cooling, heavy-duty protection circuitry and 105°C Japanese capacitors. As noted, the new Silence Mk III series will be available in 400, 500 and 600W versions. It is important to note that although this series is marketed as modular, it is not a fully modular PSU as the ATX 24-pin and CPU 8-pin one are not modular.

The 400W model will end up with single 8-pin CPU, one 8-pin PCI-Express, three molex and six SATA connectors, while the 500W model adds one more 8-pin ESP/12V CPU and one more 8-pin PCI-Express connector. The top 600W model has the same number of connectors like the 500W model but pumps out 46Amps on its +12V rail.

The entire Silencer Mk III series will be backed by 5-year warranty period. Unfortunately, the price or the availability date haven't been announced.
