Changes name to 3DMark for Windows

Previously seen during Computex, Futuremark has now officially released its 3DMark tech demo trailer. In addition to the new trailer, Futuremark has also released some details regarding its bench suite and revealed its official market name.

Since the new 3DMark will be compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista, Futuremark decided to drop the previous 3DMark for Windows 8 working title and changed the name to 3DMark for Windows or simply the next 3DMark. Of course, Futuremark did note that these are also working titles so they might change sometime in future.

As previously announced, the new 3DMark for Windows will be the world's first unified graphics benchmark that will use DirectX 9, 10 and DirectX 11. In addition to DirectX 11 support, Futuremark also released a trailer that provides a preview of the DirectX 11 test.
