29-incher with 21:9 aspect ratio

Building up excitement ahead of the IFA show that kicks off on Friday, LG has unveiled two new IPS monitors, the 29-inch EA93 and the 27-inch EA83.

The more interesting 29-inch EA93 features 21:9 aspect ration and a 2560x1080 resolution. This ultrawide monitor incorporates a thin bezel and comes with DisplayPort, dual-link DVI and HDMI with MHL support inputs. The EA93 has 300 nits of brightness, 178/178 viewing angles and 5ms GTG response time.

It also comes with a 4-way split screen feature that splits the display into four segments for easier multi-tasking

The second, EA83, is a 27-inch monitor with WQHD 2560x1440 resolution that has 99-percent Adobe RGB accuracy. The EA83, according to the specs list, brigthness is rated at 350 nits, viewing angles are 178/178 and GTG response time is 5ms.

Unfortunately, LG did not shed any light on the price of these two new monitors but we guess that more info should pour in as soon as IFA kicks off. LG did note that both should start shipping in November.
