In Europe close to 29 percent

Xiti's Web
survey has issued a new browser usage report. In Europe Mozilla Firefox usage rose by almost 1 point from 28 percent in December to 28.8 percent in March. Usage by countries hasn't changed much, Finland with 45.9 percent is in first place, followed by Poland's 44 percent, and Slovenia lost its second place and it has now 43.7 percent.

In lthe ast six months Internet Explorer lost 2.5 points while Mozilla Firefox gained 1.8 points, Opera usage increased by 0.2 points and Safari's usage increased by 0.5 points.

Global trend in the world is positive except in North America, where usage of Mozilla Firefox declined by 0.2 points or 1 percent.

We can see that usage in Europe of Firefox onweekdays (28.3%) is lower than over the weekend (30.1%). That is a clear indication that home users use more Firefox than business users, which depend on network administrators and their preference. We will see in next few months if Firefox 3 will change anything, which is slated to be released in June.

You can check graphs on Xiti's webpage.
