According to The Wall Street Journal, Dell is going to drop its four models of the XPS performance line-up desktops in order to focus more on Alienware and its Aurora dektop systems.

As you may know, Dell purchased Alienware back in 2006, and Dell has let the company do things its own way with everything. Dell is going to shift its focus on Alienware and this might result in some new systems from Alienware.

This, of course, doesn't include Dell's XPS notebooks, which are apparently doing great. This is all going to happen as of next month, at least according to the reports.
