LG and Google turned the Nexus 4 launch into the biggest botch of 2012 and neither outfit is willing to take the blame.

In December Google said Nexus 4 supply was scarce and erratic, clearly pinning the blame on LG. However, LG is now saying that it doesn’t see any supply issues. A company rep told the Chosun Ilbo that Nexus 4 production is going as planned.

So what is really going on here? If there are no production issues and LG is managing to meet its targets, it means Google severely underestimated demand for the new phone. Or someone is just flat out lying.
