Refreshes Android and iOS versions

While bragging that it is currently running on more than 200 milion devices worldwide, Viber Media has announced its biggest update so far. In addition to a refresh for Android and iOS app, Viber is coming to Mac and PC desktops.

Viber Desktop, as company calls it, will now be available for both Mac and Windows, while a Linux version is coming soon as well. The Viber Desktop will pack all the features seen before and should seamlessly integrate with existing mobile versions since it uses your phone number as an ID. With the introduction of Viber Desktop, user will be able to transfer calls between Viber Desktop and the Viber app with one click or tap. Messages will be seen on all devices and Viber Desktop will also offer video calls, albeit in beta mode for now.

In addition to the new Viber Desktop, Viber has launched a new Viber 3.0 version for iOS and Android that will ensure compatibility with Viber Desktop. It also brings a new and completely redesigned "Holo" interface and bunch of other Android specific optimizations. The full list also includes video messages, new stickers, performance improvements, bunch of new languages, new stickers, new voice engine and much more.
