According to Digitimes, VIA has gone on record to say that it will be shipping its new Nano processor to a certain tier one notebook manufacturer and that products based on the Nano processor should arrive in the market by October.

HP hasn't commented as to what products it will use the Nano processor in,  but it's expected that HP will use the processor in its Mini-note range of netbook style notebooks.

The current Mini-note 2133 is using a VIA C7 processor and most reviewers have found it to be under powered, especially considering the asking price. However, with a Nano CPU, HP could make an Atom beater, although time will tell if this is really what HP is planning, as the Nano could just as well find itself into a line of budget notebooks.
