Should reduce motion blur

It seems like some of the high-end LCD TV technology is finally filtering down to LCD displays, with ViewSonic showing off its 120Hz prototype LCD displays during Nvision. Fudo had a quick play with one of the demo units which were used to show off Nvidia's new 3D stereoscopic glasses.

The prototype models are mere 22-inch models with a native resolution of 1,680x1,050, but hopefully ViewSonic will have a 24-inch model at launch. Apart from the motion blur reducing 120Hz technology, the demo units feature a 3ms grey-to-grey response time. 300 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Other features include dual link DVI, integrated 2W stereo speakers and professional color certification. ViewSonic didn't reveal any launch date, but these displays will be on sale at some stage later this year for an unannounced price.
