At MS Professional Developers Conference

We just got an official note from Microsoft that if you are interested in all the cool betas and pre-betas including Windows 7 you should pack your bags and fly to Los Angeles between October 27 – 30.

Microsoft promised to give away a 160GB drive with a lot of betas and pre-betas, including the most interesting one called Windows 7. At this time the big software giant is organizing its Professional Developers Conference and have bunch of its stuff and senior executives talking how Microsoft is one great company.

Microsoft also confirmed that Windows 7 has support for some cool technologies including touch computing, new APIs for building context-aware applications, Web services in native code and some other things that they don’t want to pre-announce. Microsoft will have as much as 22 sessions devoted to this upcoming Windows 7 “miracle worker edition” OS. The hopes for this new Windows are high as many people are still saying away from Vista, the pretty version of Windows XP and they expect a lot from the new one.

If you are in L.A. and if you don’t mind spending $400 for pre-conference registration or $2,395 for full conference registration, you better go and register here.

You can find more details about Windows 7 sessions here.
