Six-month marriage bears no fruit


According to
Digitimes, VIA's and Nvidia's plans to jointly develop netbook and MID platforms have gone down the drain.

The companies signed a cooperation agreement in April 2008. Under the agreement they were to develop platforms based on VIA's C7 and Nano processors and Nvidia's MCP79 IGP chipsets.

VIA insists further cooperation with Nvidia will continue, in spite of the cooperation agreement breakdown.
