If you have already plunked down your money for one of the new MacBooks, you might want to skip this story. Fry’s is going to drop the price of the MacBook to $1,099 ahead of Black Friday, which represents a $200 price drop.

Several reports continue to trickle in from a variety of our Apple sources insisting that we will see the Macbook go for $1,099 this Black Friday, as Apple is offering some special dealers to help them get aggressive with the pricing of the Macbook.

The bad part of this ‘today only’ deal at Fry’s is that some stock are demo units and open box models. Still, for a $200 savings it might be worth it to swing by and try to lay your hands on one if you are looking for one. Of course, as standard most of the time at Fry’s, there will be no rain checks or substitutions.
