Peter Thiel is not a vampire

Not looking for the secrets of eternal youth

The Trump-supporting, magazine killing tech-billionaire Paypal boss Peter Thiel is not trying to stay young by transfusing teen blood into his own body.

A lot of crazy ideas have been attributed to Peter Thiel, including ideas like women not having the vote, the creation of lawless floating nations to solve society’s problems, and that the press should not be able to mention his sexuality.

When he joined Trump, who is not exactly popular in the tech world, the story was that Thiel would be willing to suck the blood of the young if it added a few more years to his own life was not that suprising.

The story first appeared in Inc. which claimed that Thiel was so afraid of dying that he was looking at “having younger people’s blood transfused into his own veins”.

Thiel Capital medical director Jason Camm - who was also an angel investor - had even contacted a startup called Ambrosia that was harvesting the blood of teens.

Vanity Fair, Gawker - when it was still alive - and numerous other media sites repeated the story.

Ambrosia received so much press attention that founder Jesse Karmazin was even invited to talk about his work at Recode’s recent Code Conference.

However tragically the story is not true, at least according to Karmazin.

He told Techcrunch that he had never been contacted by Thiel or anyone associated with Thiel Capital.

“I wish I did know Peter Thiel,” he said. “He’s not even a patient. If he were, I would have to say ‘We can’t disclose that information.’ But he’s not even a patient so I can tell you, he’s not a patient’.”

So there we have it, a denial that Peter Thiel is harvesting the blood of the young to prolong his life, from the owner of a business that harvests the blood of the young to prolong life
