Switches to Mobinnova

According to newspaper reports, Sony Ericsson will outsource its next Windows Mobile Smartphone to Taiwanese manufacturer Mobinnova.

Mobinnova is a part of Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry), and it's possible the company will completely replace HTC as Sony Ericsson's partner in this market segment. HTC and Sony Ericsson jointly developed the highly praised Xperia X1 Smartphone, and at the moment it appears it will be the first and last product of the partnership.

It is unclear why Sony Ericsson and HTC decided to call it quits, as they've managed to establish a foothold in this lucrative market with the X1.
