NC20 to appear at CES

According to
several sites, Samsung is planning to unveil its 12-inch Nano based netbook at CES in a few days time. Originally, we expected it to launch in February.

Dubbed the NC20, it will reportedly be based on a 1.3GHz Nano CPU, feature 160GB of storage, 1GB of memory and a 12.1-inch screen. It will ship with Windows XP.

Currently only Dell has a 12-inch netbook to offer, the Inspiron Mini 12, and it's based on a similarly clocked Intel Z-series Atom CPU. Samsung uses Atom N270 CPUs on its 10-inch NC10 netbook and there's no word it will transition to Nano in that particular market segment.
