As we told you last week, Ubisoft release what the called a “Glamour Pack” for Shaun White Snowboarding that cost 400 points for Xbox 360 owners or $4.99 for PlayStation 3 owners. (A new mountain add-on pack to dominate was also released for 800 points as well.) This time around, however, Ubisoft has decided to offer what they are calling a “Freebie Pack” at no charge as the name implies.

While it will not be as complete as the “Glamour Pack” and not offer nearly as much stuff, the add-on will offer a variety of new things to dress up your character and outfit them to look good on the slopes.

It is really not surprising that they have released a free add-on to the game, but we suspect that it is in an effort to draw more attention to the title. The game, which is powered by the Assassin’s Creed engine, has received mixed reviews and quite a few negative comments. We suspect that Ubisoft is using the freebie pack in an effort to draw attention to the game to gauge the level of interest in the title.
