Crackulous strips copy protection from apps

Considering that many of the applications sold on Apple's app store for the iPhone and iPod touch are, shall we say, less than useful, a new utility called Crackulous might be appealing to those that aren't interested in paying for the various applications on offer from the app store.

The downside being that someone must've already bought the application in question to be able to strip the copy protection with Crackulous. This isn't a strictly legal application either for that matter and we have a feeling that Apple's lawyers will have a word or two to say about Crackulous.

However, for those that want to share their applications with family and friends, this might just be what the doctor has ordered. We also have a feeling that we'll see a lot more iPhone applications on various file sharing sites from now on. Crackulous is said to work with all of the app store programs and a beta version is available for download as of right now.
