We dont know what to do with them

The US congress has admitted that it does not really know what to do with its old computers. The House Science and Technology Committee to draft a bill to fund grants for higher education programs related to e-waste management, as well as grants for research and development to find ways to better manage e-waste through product design, reuse, and recycling.

But the reality is that the US government does not know what to do about its used electronics. This is because there are some bizarre rules about how they can be disposed of. While the hard drive is scrubbed, politicians are forbidden to flog them or donate them.
