Three models to start with

According to a report on Digitimes, Taiwanese news paper Apple Daily (yes, it really is called that) is reporting that ASRock is getting ready to enter the notebook and netbook market with two new laptops and one netbook as early as next month.

The notebooks, which are called M12 and M15, will be entry level model which are said to start at a mere $500 (€395/£353) and as the model names suggest, the M12 will be a 12-inch model with the M15 having a 15-inch display. ASRock will use Intel Core Duo or Celeron processors and multi-touch touch pads.

There are very few details about the netbook, but we wouldn't expect anything breath taking here, although the expected sub $300 (€237/£212) price tag seems quite reasonable.
