Spanish prime minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero is getting some rather unwanted attention, after accidentally uttering the F word during a press conference.

Zapatero was talking about a Spanish-Russian plan to promote tourism in a joint press conference with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

"Tourism is an area of special economic importance in relations between Spain and Russia," said Zapatero. "Therefore we have reached an agreement to stimulate, to favour, to f---."

He then continued, without a pause, "... to support tourism."

The slip up found its way to the world wide wibble in next to no time, and has become one of the most popular viral videos practically overnight.

Zapatero's office did not comment the issue.
