Second all-in-one PC from MSI

MSI's introduction of the Wind Top AE1900 was anything but unexpected, as details of this all-in-one system leaked quite some time ago, in fact, ahead of CES this year. The Wind Top AE1900 does seem to have borrowed a few design ideas from various products, least not from older Apple Cinema displays (launched back in 2002).

The Wind Top AE1900 has a 18.5-inch touch screen display with a native resolution of 1,366x768 and we'd liked to have seen a higher resolution panel used, although the trade off here might very well be limitations of the 945GC chipset. The CPU is a single core Atom 230, so no netbook parts in this system. We'd expect to see 1GB of memory in shipping systems, although there is support for up to 2GB.

Other features include a 160GB hard drive, a DVD Super-Multi drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, 1.3Megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, a built in dial-up modem (seems like a waste of money Ed.), four USB 2.0 ports, a pair of audio jacks and built in stereo speakers.

We can see the Wind Top AE1900 becoming popular with less demanding computer users, but with no word in pricing, it's hard to tell how popular it will be.
