The pan Asia finals, including Africa, of Gigabyte's GO OC 2009 competition finished yesterday in Bangkok and not totally unexpected, Australia won. Taiwan came in on second place followed by the host nation, Thailand.

The regional finals in China have already finished which leaves Europe and the US. All the European qualifiers have finished and the European finals will take place in Prague, Czech Republic on the 17th of April. The winners from all four final will end up competing in the worldwide finals in Taipei, Taiwan during Computex on the 3rd of June.

The winners of the regional finals all get US$2,000 as well as flights and accommodation paid for to attend the final in Taiwan.
