The Planet hosts terrorist sites
Fiberoptic axis of evil
A Taliban fraction recently took responsibility for an attack on coalition troops in Afghanistan, which claimed the lives of four soldiers. Nothing unusual about that, other than the fact that the message came from their website, hosted by The Planet, in Houston, Texas.
The site was up for more than a year, boasting of insurgent attacks on coalition troops, in a macabre tally of IED attacks, rocket strikes and ambushes on coalition troops, and all this for $70 a month. Seems they weren't getting much traffic and went for a cheap server.
Eventually, the account was pulled last week after a blogger noticed the connection and called attention to it.
