The music industry hit a new low when a Warner Music called a blogger a "brat" on Twitter.

Norwegian student Even (18) wrote on Twitter followers that he was miffed about iTunes not letting him download the newest album from Dave Matthews Band. He said that he was furious that iTunes is only allowing downloads of the new Dave Matthews Band album if you live in the US!

Within minutes Terje Pedersen from Warner Music Norway replied: "Then I suggest you steal it and write about the process in your stupid brat blog. We don't want you to get upset.". The comment is being seen as typical of the record companies lack of understanding for social media and the lack of respect for the punters.

The message about the comment has got out onto the web and Pedersen has since said sorry. He added that neither he nor Warner has anything against filesharing technology or new technology in general.
