For business users

For those of you that have been eyeing Logitech's Wave keyboard, but found the pricing a little bit too steep, there's good news, as the new Comfort Wave 450 keyboard offers the same curved, wave-shaped typing surface, for a fair bit less money.

The Comfort Wave 450 keyboard is parts of Logitech's "for businesses" range of products, but we're sure we'll see this keyboard in the retail channel soon enough as well, at least if there's enough demand for it. Some features has of course been removed from the Comfort Wave 450 compared to the original Wave model and it doesn't look quite as ergonomic, although the removable wrist rest might be good news for some.

Most of the quick launch and quick access buttons have been removed and this explains the business angle. However, the Comfort Wave 450 still retains a row of quick access buttons for things like media player access, web browser, email, calculator and more. However, anyone looking at getting one of these keyboards would consider them for the ergonomics of the curved and wave shaped typing surface, which is the key point of the Wave keyboards.

At €24.99 (£19.99/$39.99) it looks like the Comfort Wave 450 is a bargain in Europe and the UK compared to the US, which makes a nice change to most companies pricing which tend to be the opposite.
