Joe Wilson not invited

A year
after the Lehman Brothers collapse, the AIG bailout and the mess that ensued, every significant investment is bound to draw attention. The construction of a $4.2 billion chip fab is no exception, and it seems to be raising eyebrows at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Saratoga County democrats are saying US President Barack Obama could visit the county during his visit to New York, scheduled for September 22. Congressman Joe 'You Lie' Wilson will probably not be present during the visit.

“They’re looking at visiting our area. I think a decision will be made in the next day or two,” Saratoga County’s Democratic Chairman Bulman said. “They asked us about high-tech manufacturing and high-tech development, and what we think the overall impact will be.”

Local media claim Secret Service agents in cheap sunglasses checked out Albany International Airport for a possible visit by the commander-in-chief. The White House has still not confirmed the visit.
