MSI has officially announced two new nettops, the Wind Box DE200 and DC200. We had a chance to see both of these during CeBIT, and back then, DE200 was based on Nvidia's MCP79, aka. ION (9400) chipset and featured Intel's Celeron M550 CPU. During Computex '09, the DE200 changed to these current specifications and it was a star at MSI's Computex lineup.

Both the DE200 and DC200 are packed in a 283 x 178 x 40.4mm (2 Liter) chassis, have an Intel Atom 230 CPU, 1GB of memory, a 3.5-inch 160GB hard drive, Gigabit LAN and 802.11bgn WiFi, two USB 2.0 ports, 6-in-1 card reader and an external 65W PSU.

The only difference between the DC200 and the DE200 is the graphics part, as the DC200 comes with standard Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics and features a single VGA out, while the DE200 is equipped with discrete DirectX 9 graphics with VGA and HDMI outputs.

MSI's specifications list for the DE200 only shows it as a nettop with discrete graphics, but according to listing at Amazon, it features ATI's HD 4350 graphics card. There is a possibility that MSI will have different SKUs with Nvidia's 9400 and other graphics cards, but for now, ATI's HD 4350 is the only one that is available for pre-order.

Both the DE200 and the DC200 are equipped with Windows XP Home Edition operating system. Amazon lists both the DE200 and DC200 with a US $299.99 and US $249.99 price tags, but we are sure that more retailers/e-tailers will start listing it pretty soon. You can check out the full specification list here.
