CEBIT 2007: Passive cooling for mid end DX9 GPU

We rarely see a coolers that can cool the fast GPUs without the help of a fan. Zalman is using a new patented technology called Variable Fin Profile to reach this goal, and cool the card completely passively.

Due to the usage of aluminum the massive body weights only 160g and is capable of cooling Nvidia 7950GT and ATI’s x1800XL series of GPUs. As we have learned, overclocking possibilities of this cooler are very limited, but at the stock GPU clock it will do its job quite well.

There is no info on the RAM heat sinks, and will they even be bundled with the card.
