Reference clocks for €59

A German
retailer has listed Sparkle's new 9500GT in 512 and 1024MB flavors. Interestingly, both models feature passive cooling.

The card is reference clocked, 550MHz GPU, 800MHz for the memory and 1400MHz for the Shaders. It uses GDDR3 memory on a 128-bit bus.

It is modestly priced, the 512MB version is listed at €59, while €66 will buy you the 1024MB version, but don't expect stellar performance from it. We're expecting it to sell for around €50 once it becomes available and OEMs will probably love it, as they'll be able to offer 9 series graphics in their systems for peanuts. It will be the cheapest Geforce 9 to date.

It's coming to store shelves soon and you should expect the first reviews to start popping up around the net anytime now. The official launch is set for next week.

You can find the listing here.
