DDR2 and DDR3, faster Shaders

We have learned a few more facts about 9500GT. The new chip has support for both DDR2 and DDR3 designs, but both of them are stuck with a 128-bit memory interface.

At the same time the chip has 32 stream processors and the Shaders are at different clocks compared to the GPU speed.

The reference card works at 550MHz, while the Shaders can reach 1400MHz and the memory speed depends on the design. The reference GDDR3 card has memory that works at 800MHz, while the DDR2 card has memory that works at 400MHz.

The card is at least 100MHz faster than the previous 8500GT generation and with faster Shaders it might be drastically faster compared to Nvidia's previous entry level.

We also heard that the card supports PhysX and something called Badaboom software. The launch is expected on the July 29th.
