9500GT and 9800GT cards

Zotac has announced its latest addition to the AMP! series of cards, the 9500GT and 9800GT AMP! editions. As a part of Zotac's AMP! series, both of these cards will come with a high factory overclock.

The 9800GT AMP! edition will be overclocked to 700MHz for the GPU and it will come with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1,000MHz (2GHz effectively). The shaders are overclocked to 1,700MHz. This card will be cooled by a rather familiar cooler, the same one that had the pleasure of cooling the 8800GT cards. This is nothing strange, as we are talking about a rebranded 8800GT.

The 9500GT AMP! edition works at 650MHz and comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 900MHz (1,800MHz effectively). The shaders are overclocked from 1,375MHz on the reference Zotac 9500GT card to a stunning 1,625MHz on the AMP! version. This card is cooled by a rather simple single slot cooler with a small fan.

Beside the AMP! edition 9500GT and 9800GT cards, Zotac has also announced two more 9500GT and a single 9800GT reference clocked card. The two 9500GT will differentiate by the use of DDR2 or GDDR3 memory which work at 1,000MHz (DDR2) and 1,600MHz (GDDR3).

Here is a picture of each of the AMP! edition cards.
