Triple heatpipe Freezer DHT

Force3D has announced a new HD 4870 card which will be cooled by so called "Freezer DHT" cooling solution. The card should be up to 33 percent cooler than the reference cooled card and it will probably be factory overclocked.

The new Freezer DHT, which stands for Direct Heatpipe Touch, will feature three 6mm copper heatpipes connected to the aluminum heatsink that weighs 249g. The heatsink is cooled by an 80mm fan which spins at 2500RPM. The card's specifications are unfortunately unknown, but we sincerely hope that Force3D has decided to overclock this card.

The card's release date and pricing haven't been announced yet, as we guess that this was Force3D's way to announce a new cooling solution rather than the card itself.

This is how it looks.
