ATI has released Catalyst 8.8 and the new driver comes with a twist. Apart from regular bug fixes and performance tweaks the new Catalyst will bring Hybrid Graphics to XP.
This comes as a rather unexpected move, as ATI previously shunned any possibility of XP getting this feature. Although it won't be a big thing for the vast majority of users, Hybrid Graphics support under XP is a quite useful feature. If you're building a cheap 780G or even a 790GX machine and prefer XP over Vista, the new Catalyst drivers should let you squeeze out a bit more performance on it.
There's also a bunch of fixes for many popular titles both in XP and Vista. You can get the driver and learn more about the fixes and new features here.
