Zotac, Sparkle and Asus

Almost all important partners have launched their version of the 9400GT card with GDDR3 memory. Other partners will probably have theirs soon, but for now Asus has one, while Zotac and Sparkle have two of these cards.

All of these cards will have the same specs and will end up wroking at 550MHz for the core, 1,400MHz for both 512MB of GDDR3 memory and Shaders. The card is based on Nvidia's Geforce 9400GT GPU, which has 16 Stream processors. Its 512MB of GDDR3 memory is paired up with a 128-bit memory interface. It has support for DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 and all of them should have either a dual-link DVI and VGA D-Sub connector or just two dual link DVIs.

Both Zotac and Sparkle decided to launch a passively cooled 9400GT card with GDDR3 memory. The only difference among all of these cards is that Asus' card is rumored to have 1.0ns GDDR3 memory working at 1,800MHz, but also a large dual-slot cooler.

Unfortunately, there isn't a single 9400GT with GDDR3 memory listed at Geizhals.at, but they should start to show up pretty soon.

Here are some pictures of these cards.
